1.2. Set Voicemail Greeting

To set a voicemail greeting:
  • Press the voicemail button on the phone

  • Enter the voicemail box PIN (default is the extension number, located in the upper left-hand corner of the phone screen)
  • Follow the voice prompts to record a greeting (option 1 is best for recording a general unavailable message)
For generic building voicemail boxes (not assigned to an individual), simply record a greeting on a computer or phone and email it to the helpdesk.  Our team will help assign that greeting to the building's main voicemail box.

If you do not know your voicemail PIN and the default does not work, please enter a helpdesk request and a staff member will retrieve it for you.

1.3. Program sidebar/speed dial buttons

Navigate on a district computer to MyApps.  Find the icon labeled Endpoint Mgr and click to launch it.

Once the page loads, select the phone you wish to edit.  Most users will only have one phone.  If you do not see your phone in the list, please enter a helpdesk ticket so a staff member can assign it to your account.

On the phone screen, in the box "Button X Text" enter the text you wish to appear on the screen of the phone.  In the "Button X Number" box, enter the number you want the phone to call when the button is pressed.

Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Once the page is saved, your phone will restart and after the restart, will show the button changes you made.

1.4. Troubleshooting

If the buttons on your phone are not working or you are having any other general phone issues, please reboot your phone.

To reboot your phone:

  1. Turn your phone over
  2. Remove the following cable:

  1. Wait 30 seconds
  2. Plug the cable back in to the same port you removed it from.
  3. Turn the phone back over.
  4. The phone will take 30-60 seconds to fully boot.
