1.1. iPad App Request

App requests should be sent to the helpdesk, but must contain specific information to ensure the correct app is identified.  Please obtain the information needed by finding the app in the App Store Catalog site from Apple:

https://apps.apple.com/us/genre/ios/id36

Then to submit the Help Desk ticket, click on this link: 

https://myapps.plcschools.org/go/helpdesk

Please include the following information:

Link to App

Price

Title 

Developer

1.2. Using Self Service

What is Self Service?


The Self Service application is similar to the Apple App Store, but it provides customized content for PLCS devices. The Self Service app gives clients the flexibility of choosing what to install and when to install it.




After clicking Install to add an App, the app will download and install. After it is finished, the "Install" will change to "Reinstall". 

Kahoot! is now installed.

1.3. Wi-Fi will not connect

Select Wi-Fi

Select PLCS BYOD


  

Enter district Username and Password


 

 

 Click Trust

 

The iPad should now be connected to PLCS BYOD.

 

At this point the Date and Time should automatically update. Now you can connect to PLCS Secure.

 

After you have successfully connected the iPad to PLCS Secure, it is important to Forget the PLCS BYOD Network.

 

Click the to the right of PLCS BYOD.


Click Forget This Network - Forget

 


1.4. Outdoor Ed App Privacy Policy

The Outdoor Ed App is not designed to collect any information.  PLCS will not process or store any user information from the app.
