The first step is to open Google and click Google apps launcher.

Click Contacts

To edit a contact, hover over the contact entry, then Click the pencil icon that appears at right.

Add or adjust information by filling out the designated spaces.
Note the "Show More" option to add birthdays and addresses.

Click Save.

To Delete a contact, hover over the contact entry. Then, Click on the More icon that appears at right.

Click Delete

Click Delete.
That's it. You're done.
