The first step is to open Google.com and click Google apps

Click Account

Click on the Google Apps Launcher

Click Classroom

Click on the Class you would like to add student to.

There are three main ways that students can be added to your classroom.

1. Auto-enrolled through SIMS (If you have a class in SIMS your students will automatically be added.)
If you don't have a SIMS class but rather a club or a group you can...
2. Send an invite link to students
3. Share the class code.

To add students by email address Click on People

Click the icon next to Students.

Type the Name or Email of the student you would like to invite.

Click on the student's email address under Search Results.

Click Invite

To add students by sharing a Class Code click on Settings.

Scroll down and click the drop down menu for Class Code.

Click Display.

Now the class code will be sized for Display.
If you want the code to be even larger click the Full Screen button in the bottom right corner.

Once the code is displayed, students will navigate to classroom.google.com and click the Plus sign in the top right corner.

Students will click Join class.

Students will then Type in the displayed Class Code.

Students will click Join.

To view all people in your Google Classroom click People.

If you would like to invite a co-teacher, click the icon next to Teachers instead of students and repeat the process of invitation via email or class code.

That's it! You're done.
