1.7. Reinstalling Printers in Mosyle

This document is for users using a district-owned Mac computer.  If you are using a district-owned PC, contact the Helpdesk for assistance.  Advanced printer features are not available to Chromebook users.

 

If you are having troubles with printing, you can follow the steps below to check that the driver is properly selected on your computer.

First, open System Preferences.

Scroll down in the left pane to locate "Printers & Scanners." 

 Select a Follow You Queue (Color) or Follow You Queue (Monochrome) Printer.

Click Remove Printer in the lower-left corner of the screen, then click Remove Printer on the next pop-up.

In apps, click the Mosyle manager Icon ** If you don't see Mosyle Manager -- Start typing "manager."***

Click on Self-Service *** Box may say "Class Manager" click to change to Self-Service

Next, click "My Profiles" and then "Install Now" under "Follow You Printing."

Go back to System Preferences and "Printers and Scanners" to verify that the printers have been installed.

 

You should now be able to print using the advanced MFP features.
